The Ultimate Last War Survival Season 2 Week 5 Guide: How to Defeat the Giant Glacieradon

The first Week 5 problem is not damage. It is finding the boss fast enough to join before your faction burns valuable time. The correct route is to open the main event menu, enter the Season II: Polar World tab, and then select Reactivate the Nuclear Furnace.

Inside that event screen, the Beast Tracks tab acts like a live boss radar. It shows where the Giant Glacieradon is currently active, which means you do not need to waste time scanning the frozen map manually. Whenever the event is live, this is the first menu you should check.

The Giant Glacieradon does not stay on your home server. It appears across all four servers within your faction, and that is the most important rule in the entire Week 5 event. Players who wait passively for the boss to arrive on their own server will miss a large portion of the rewards.

Your milestone list asks you to defeat the Giant Glacieradon up to 16 times. That total comes from four appearances spread across four faction servers, which is why serious players need to bounce between servers and attack each active boss as it appears.

Treat this event like a roaming faction boss cycle. When the spawn notice appears, check Beast Tracks, jump to the active server, and use your attack window there before moving on to the next Glacieradon appearance.

While chasing the Glacieradon, you should also complete the allied objective tied to the same event page: reactivating the Nuclear Furnace. This task is much easier than the boss fight, but it still contributes meaningful milestone rewards and helps your faction's overall progress.

The process is simple. Go to the event page, locate the Nuclear Furnace, choose a truck, and send a march. It is one of the easiest pieces of Week 5 value available, so skipping it is almost always a mistake.

The best Week 5 damage comes from respecting troop counters instead of blindly sending your highest raw power. Battle reports show that the Level 100 Giant Glacieradon uses a lineup of 2 Tanks, 2 Missiles, and 1 Aircraft.

Because Missile units make up a large share of that lineup, Tanks are the strongest counter option. If your Tank squad and Aircraft squad are close in power, Tanks should usually perform better because they gain the troop-type advantage against the boss's Missile-heavy setup.

Aircraft can still work if you are a dedicated Air main and that is clearly your best team, but for equally developed squads, Tanks are the smarter Week 5 choice for both efficiency and leaderboard performance.

Week 5 Glacieradon attacks are limited by both stamina and per-boss participation rules. Every hit costs 10 stamina, so you should arrive prepared instead of spending yourself dry on other activities right before the spawn window.

You are also limited to 5 attacks per server for each Glacieradon appearance. That means weak filler attacks have a real opportunity cost. If you burn attempts on a secondary squad, you lower your own damage efficiency and reduce the value you get from each server cycle.

The Giant Glacieradon is not like a standard Rampage Boss where your troops walk away without real consequences. This boss causes actual battle damage, and your wounded units are sent to the Hospital after each attack.

That changes the whole rhythm of the event. If you spam all 5 attacks back-to-back without checking your base, your hospital can fill after only 1 or 2 hits. Once capacity is full, additional casualties stop being safely wounded and start becoming permanent troop losses.

The correct loop is to attack, return to base, heal your wounded troops, restore your squad strength, and then continue. In Week 5, hospital management is part of the boss strategy itself, not a separate maintenance task you can delay until later.

To fully clear Season 2 Week 5, your job is to combine speed, counterplay, and damage control. Find the boss through Beast Tracks, follow its faction-wide spawn rotation across all four servers, and send your best Tank squad whenever possible to make the most of your limited hits.

Just as important, protect your account from preventable troop losses. Save stamina, use your 5 attacks carefully, complete the Nuclear Furnace march task, and keep your hospital running between rounds. Players who manage all of those pieces together will hit the full reward track much more reliably than players who only focus on raw damage.
